Overview

Inspired by the 2012 Rio+20 Resolution, “The Future We Want”, Future We Want Global Initiatiove for Young Leaders is today among the largest initiatives in the world to empower youth.

FWWMUN is committed to promoting a united international community, a better future, and a more sustainable world through the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). FWWMUN has identified 10 goals from the 17 SDGs as key focus areas related to youth and education to guide the work of the organization. UN high level officials have highlighted the important role Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Youth NGOs play in advocating for the SDGs in their countries.

FWWMUN will work closely with organizations committed to bringing about the Future We Want to help all of us address this challenge together. Thanks to its quality-driven initiatives and programs worldwide, during the years 2018-2020 the FWW was able to engage more than 21,000 of youths and experts to generate and implement programs that were able to impact more than 1,8 million people in the different continents. The FWW is today World's Largest Model United Nations initiative with traingin programs designed to empower youth and getting them into real United Nations Diplomacy. Thanks to the MUN Academy, youth can upskill its personal development and contribute creating positive change within their communities.

Details

World's Largest Youth Empowerment Initiative

FWWMUN seeks to bring together future generations of leaders from all corners of the globe to gain first-hand experience in international relations, to produce high-quality resolutions aimed at bringing about the Future We Want, and to submit these resolutions to relevant UN agencies and world leaders for consideration.

FWWMUN begins with a series of workshops delivered by UN Officials and Diplomats about Youth Involvement, the SDGs, and Leadership. Furthermore, during the first committee session, delegates will have the opportunity to engage at a High Level by benefitting from experts in their field on the committee topics.

During the years, several events of the FWWMUN were held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Today, the FWWMUN is the largest MUN platform for selected youth and it includes also regional workshops in the five continents: a unique concept made possible only thanks to the support of the partnering diplomatic missions of the UN Member States.

If you are looking for an engaging experience that will challenge and enhance the capabilities of delegates from every skill level, then FWWMUN is the right conference for you. As the largest  and most diverse high school and university conference in the world, FWWMUN provides students with exposure to the world's most pressing issues, an array of top-quality and academically rigorous preparation and training materials, direct access to diplomats, ambassadors, and government officials, and the unique experience of deep immersion into the United Nations system itself.

MUN For All

We truly believe that Model UN is an incredible way to train future world leaders, and is an experience all students should have. Our core values are inclusivity and diversity. With 3000 delegates from 146 different countries, FWWMUN is the unique MUN in the world to be fully inclusive, allowing equal participation and opportunities for people from all countries. Because of that, we are proud to be the only conference free of charge held in New York, with the most affordable accommodation packages and 1500 housing financial aids available!

A World-Class Experience

FWWMUN is committed to delivering a world-class experience to all the delegates in attendance, and the conference will bring together prestigious international partners to help achieve that goal. The FWWMUN is fully engaged to ensure that this conference features realistic and educational content taken directly from the UN agenda, a smooth experience for all groups to register and attend the event, and expert staff from elite colleges and universities around the world to lead your delegates throughout the event.

FWWMUN Committees

Delegates will have the opportunity to choose from 9 different committees to participate in at FWWMUN.
