Overview

At Google, we believe in jumping right in to find solutions to the challenges that our business and our users face. The Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Immersion program gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a culture where great minds, cutting-edge technology and smart business intersect to make a difference--each and every day.

Details

Selected students will receive all-expenses-paid travel to one of Google's headquarters for up to one week. The BOLD Immersion program provides:

  • A rare glimpse into the business side of the technology industry
  • A chance to grow your peer network
  • An environment for testing your skills and collaborating on real business challenges
  • Exposure and insight into Google’s Internship program and non-technical career opportunities

The BOLD Immersion program is open to all higher education students, and is committed to addressing diversity in our company and the technology industry. Students who are members of a group that is historically underrepresented in this field are encouraged to apply.

Dates:

All BOLD Immersion participants will be given the opportunity to be mentored by a Googler during the months of August 2024.

What’s the selection process?

  • Each application will be evaluated and scored based on the following criteria: (i) demonstration of passion for the online industry; (ii) academic merit; (iii) demonstration of leadership skills ("Criteria").

  • Each eligible application that meets the Criteria will be reviewed by Google in accordance with the Criteria by an internal panel of Google team members and the best 50 applications (as assessed by the panel of judges in their sole discretion as against the Criteria) will be successful.

  • Notification of successful applicants will take place between May and June 2024 to the email address provided at the time of application. Notification is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.

  • Successful applicants will be required to accept the invitation to participate in the BOLD Immersion EMEA program within 14 days of notification by Google. If successful applicants fail to accept within 14 days of notification by Google, their participation in the program will be forfeited and Google may, in its sole discretion, select an alternative successful applicant.
