Position at GroupM

GroupM is seeking a motivated and creative Community Building Intern to help foster a vibrant and engaging innovation community within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching successful communities of practice, developing a blueprint for an effective community of practice, and piloting this blueprint within our innovation community.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Conduct extensive research on successful communities of practice in the media industry and beyond.
  2. Analyze GroupM's existing innovation community and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Develop a comprehensive blueprint for an engaging and effective community of practice.
  4. Prepare a detailed proposal for piloting the blueprint within the innovation community at GroupM.
  5. Present the proposal to key stakeholders and incorporate their feedback.
  6. Implement the pilot, which may involve launching new communication channels, organizing community events, or introducing new collaborative tools.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the success of the pilot, making adjustments as necessary.
  8. Develop and implement a plan to scale the community blueprint across the organization based on lessons learned.
  9. Participate in team meetings and professional development workshops.
  10. Network with professionals in the media industry.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Media Studies, Business, Communication, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of community building and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
