When can I apply for an internship?
Internship placements are usually filled for 20 consecutive weeks during the periods February–July and September–February. The current page will list our available internships shortly before the start of each period. The best way to express your interest is to submit your application to the internship of your interest when it’s advertised.
How do I apply for an internship?
When applying for an internship, you should always include your resume, motivation and portfolio/work examples, along with details on your educational institution, the length of your internship and the date on which the internship should commence.
In addition, please clearly mention in your motivation which area of game development you are applying for. Because interns contribute directly to the game development process, we select applicants on the basis of their abilities and overall suitability.

Who can apply for an internship?
You are eligible to apply for an internship if:
- you are 18 years or older;
- you are registered as a student with a study program related to the internship;
- you are a 3rd or 4th year student;
- you are available for, at minimum, 20 consecutive weeks;
- your school/university is able to initiate an internship agreement.
You are eligible to apply for an internship at Guerrilla if:
- you reside in the Netherlands;
- you have a permit to study and follow an internship in the Netherlands.
I have no experience in the games industry. Can I still get a job with you?
A: Games industry experience is certainly a bonus, but it's not always necessary. It's important to put together an excellent portfolio that demonstrates your skills and your understanding of the game development process.
