Overview
Our scholarship program seeks to empower marginalized youth in BiH through education. We bring together an ethnically and religiously diverse group of BiH youth to promote unity and diversity. We go beyond traditional aid with our holistic approach by providing additional educational support through tutoring, room and board, English lessons, and more to ensure each scholar has the tools necessary to succeed.
Together, through higher education and the unity of the youth, we are building a better BIH.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Our end goal is not simply creating college graduates but rather well-rounded industry leaders in the workforce. We work with local companies to recognize and respond to the gaps in textbook education by providing workshops to all of our current students and alumni. These workshops and training sessions highlight areas such as resume writing, financial literacy, team building, leadership, and professional development. Students learn invaluable skills to further prepare them for top positions in the competitive BiH workforce.
These learning opportunities have proven to raise confidence within our students and create the strategic, ethical, and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
US LEARNING EXPERIENCE
The Jericho Foundation proudly offers a 6 week U.S. learning and professional program for qualified students in their field of study. Still rebuilding from the country's shattering war, young people are looking for employment in a country plagued by 57% unemployment.
The program provides students an opportunity to gain the necessary experience to become a competitive applicant in the BiH workforce. In addition to learning the specialized skills of a particular field, transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are also obtained, fully preparing students to enter the workforce in BiH upon graduation.
100% of our students who have participated in the U.S. program gained employment within six months following graduation. Employers in BiH expressed that the U.S. experience made them the leading candidates. This opportunity expands the horizons for future BiH professionals, further contributing to a brighter future in Bosnia.
