WHAT IS OUR APPROACH?

THE FOLLOWING IS HOW ECCEDU SUMMER PROGRAM WORKS:

Law Program 

Participation in the Law Program is of interest not only for law school students; the program can be viewed as resourceful in almost any area. Broadening the horizon is a part of personal growth and a better understanding of the legal field, and law especially, is something that is connected to most aspects of personal as well as professional lives. 

Our aim is to prepare future legal practitioners for their careers. We also strive to assist our students with an understanding of the practical sides of the law and its commercial aspects through speaking to leaders from the real world. 

Lectures 

All of our lecturers are experts and pioneers in their field. They will engage with students during three weeks of intensive lectures. The scope of the lectures ranges from insights into current trends to the very essentials of business and commerce.

Internships by ECCEDU 

Our 4-week internship provides the real-life job experience at a company of your choice according to students’ ECCEDU's test results. 

Internships are always under the close supervision and guidance of senior company representatives, who look after students, coach them and help them grow - for this reason, each company doesn’t take on more than 1 or 2 students.

During their internships, students get assigned personalized tasks, designed to fit their personal and professional interests. Their internship work also typically includes the practical side of office work, such as research, translations, the drafting of documents, the writing of memoranda, or attending meetings.

Upon Arrival to Warsaw 

Upon students’ arrival, we welcome them at the "Frederic Chopin" Airport in Warsaw. After check-in at a dormitory (for this year we are cooperating with dormitories of Warsaw University), our ECCEDU staff helps them to familiarize with the city and arrange basic needs for their stay. Our goal is to prepare and maintain a hospitable, friendly and welcoming environment for all our students, considering their personal needs, and comply with any special requests to the best of our ability. 

Buddy Program 

Students are divided into groups of 10 and assigned a buddy, who is the liaison for the group regarding all matters and situations that students may encounter while in Warsaw. The buddy will also provide personal assistance for individual students.

Entertainment 

Our staff arranges various team-building events for students throughout the lecture period of the program. We engage students in plenty of free time activities and introduce them to local culture in an entertaining way such as Escape Room, Karaoke, Laser games, a barbecue dinner, Warsaw sightseeing, and trips around Poland and abroad. 

Graduation 

A worldwide recognized certificate of ECCEDU graduation is provided at the end of each Program at an informal certificate awarding ceremony at an evening barbecue event. In addition, the partner companies grant certificates of internships on this occasion.
