Main Responsibilities

In this role, you are part of the LDC Central Innovation team.

As such will be supporting the roll out of strategic innovation capabilities for the group. The focus of the internship will be to support the team “Launch Innovation challenges, managing and supporting the portfolio of projects”.

Activities associated with the position :

  • Support LDC's innovation PoCs with tools and methodologies provided by the central team. Optimize them as needed.
  • Contribute to building a strong External Ecosystem and be active in establishing and maintaining the relationship with: startups, funds, accelerators/incubators, universities, partnerships, external advisory.
  • Run proof of concept and test technical and business assumptions
  • Provide support and help with other ad-hoc tasks per need
  • Support the Launch and pipeline of Innovation Challenges (internal calls for innovation ideas) across the different business units and regions.

Business:

  • Ability to listen and understand business needs across different business domains
  • Ability to conduct business analysis and interviews to identify opportunity areas
  • Ability to manage projects and stakeholders
  • Experience working on corporate innovation projects is a strong plus
  • Experience working with startups is a plus
  • Experience in soft commodity trading, agriculture, or the food industry is a plus
