Overview
LucidWeb is a fast-growing XR (VR and AR) startup based in Brussels. LucidWeb’s mission is to remove the friction to access and experience VR or AR content. The company accomplishes this by leveraging the power of today’s browsers to showcase unique XR branding or storytelling. LucidWeb is developing a SaaS platform for distributing immersive media, called LucidWeb Pro, making the WebXR distribution standard more accessible to online publishers. Our SaaS platform takes away all the publisher’s pains related to distribution so that they can focus on VR/AR content creation and promotion. To accelerate the development of our platform, we are looking to onboard an intern dedicated to QA. The ideal profile should be passionate about VR/AR and looking for his/her first startup experience.

- React.js with Redux for our platform frontend.
- NodeJS to power our platform backend.
- GitHub, NPM & Lerna to manage our codebases.
- BabylonJS to power our WebXR experiences.

Description of Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
- assist with day to day QA activities
- the ability to continuously learn and improve working in an agile team writing test cases, testing, and documenting issues at the story and defect level to help ensure features in the backlog are complete and of excellent quality.
- Passion for quality software development
- Highly analytical and flexible, views roadblocks as an opportunity for learning
- Desire to work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of program interfaces, services, databases, messaging, files systems, and other program objects.
- Is not afraid of communicating with its teammates.
- Does not know everything but can tackle any issue with a creative solution.
- Takes pride in producing elegant code but still ships.
- Majoring or recent graduate in a relevant degree, such as information systems, or computer science
