Cost/funding for participants

The IAS provides financial support to enable participation in the conferences that it organizes and co-organizes every year. Scholarship programmes enhance skills and knowledge. In turn, these can be shared with peers and community networks and increase the participation of people in lower-income countries and people living with and affected by HIV.

IAS 2026 Scholarships

The AIDS 2026 Scholarship Programme financially assists selected applicants from around the world to attend AIDS 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It supports applicants who contribute to the conference programme and those who can demonstrate that they will transfer the skills and knowledge gained at the conference to their work in their organizations and communities.
