What we’re looking for
As part of the team, you will work under a Project Manager and assist with tasks such as data collection, analysis, and preparing strategic reports. Work will include supporting with the migration of our different JIRA instances to the cloud version of JIRA. This requires an understanding and working with Power BI, Jira and JQL, and possibly Tableau.
What you’ll be doing
This is a project management internship and will last for 6 months. This internship will provide the opportunity to learn about Project Management and Industrial Software Development. Based in Prague, Czech Republic, you will work on projects that will give you hands-on experience with innovative software development tools, project management methodology, business analysis, quality assurance and organizational change. The opportunity will allow you to sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills in a business environment.
You will help with maintaining and extending our cloud version of Atlassian JIRA. A meaningful amount of effort will be required to enhance the dashboards and metric tools that are currently deployed on the existing JIRA projects. These dashboards combine data from agile epics and stories from several projects via customized queries, to present them in overviews for overall management. This requires an understanding and working with Power BI, Jira and JQL, and possibly Tableau.

- Assisting with documentation and other project deliverables
- Identifying and managing constraints, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, documenting risk mitigation plans
- Coordinating activities between project team members and stakeholders
- Contribute to the reporting of project status

What you’ll bring

- Good MS Office or equivalent skills
- Solid written and oral communication skills, in English

- Junior, senior, or current graduate student pursuing studies in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Business Administration (or a related field) or equivalent work experience
