Slush has grown from a single gathering in Helsinki to a series of events organized all around the world. We throw bigger events in Finland and China, and smaller get-togethers around the globe, from Singapore to NYC. Wherever they happen, our events aim at equipping founders to solve the most meaningful problems of our time.

Slush has grown from a 300-person assembly in Helsinki to a community of true global magnitude. The mission of Slush remains the same: to create and help the next generation of groundbreaking entrepreneurs.

HERE’S TO THE FOUNDERS AND OPERATORS

Tech events. Usually lined up with the most accomplished and triumphant players of the field. Their success is easy to recognize, but what’s much harder is to dig into their best kept secrets and the day-to-day practices they preach and work by. In 2019, our on-stage and off-stage program gave you the best, hands-on advice by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.

In 2025, over 3,100 startups, 1,800 investors, and 650 journalists from over 130 countries gathered to Slush to kick it with like-minded tech-heads while experiencing the phenomenal atmosphere.

ONE-OF-A-KIND COMMUNITY.

Think of Slush as a collision of a festival and a conference. It’s not a business, but a community of people who love what they do.

Slush is run by the youth who want to make a difference in their societies. Several successful entrepreneurs such as Niklas Zennström (Skype & Atomico), Taizo Son (GungHo), Ilkka Paananen (Supercell), and Risto Siilasmaa (Nokia) among others, have already become a part of the non-profit initiative that is radically changing how entrepreneurship is perceived in Northern Europe, Japan, and China.

MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT.

Slush wants to leave the world better than we found it, and so sustainability is a core part of how Slush operates.

Slush is an EkoKompassi/EcoCompass certified event, and this is just the start. Whether it is reducing our environmental footprint by using only tap water and biodegradable disposables, promoting diversity and equality in recruiting for social inclusiveness, or by using only green electricity for our event, we set the bar high for minimizing the harm we do while amplifying the good.

HUSTLING NEAR AND FAR.

Over the past seven years, Slush has grown from a 300-person gathering to become a global community organizing more than 75 events with +40,000 attendees all around the world. Each city and each community adds its own local flavour to the global network. Be it the cherry blossoms of Japan or the rhythms of Jamaica, we always like to throw some spices into the mix of entrepreneurs and tech.

In addition to our global community events in Helsinki, Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore, Slush is expanding rapidly to other parts of the world. We co-organize events together with the most prominent startup hubs across all continents.

Slush events happen all around the globe and range from intimate, local gatherings to our flagship, 25,000-strong event in Helsinki. Regardless of size, our events remain true to Slush’s mission: connecting the next generation of entrepreneurs with what and whom they need.
