Game Engineering Intern
SYBO is growing. We’re releasing new games, building on the massive success of Subway Surfers as the most downloaded game of all time (4 billion downloads and counting!) and continuing to excite and surprise the most important people in the world: Our players!
You will have an opportunity to join a game team operating a live game played by millions of players daily and work with “SYBOnians” from a wide variety of disciplines such as art, design, QA and of course engineering. We have 3 sub-teams within engineering; our Tech Pod, LiveOps Pod and our Feature Pod. As an intern you will learn and hone your skills for the future as well as helping our team maintain and develop the most downloaded game in the world.
Your time at SYBO
- In your ramp-up month - During your first month you will be welcomed into the team and the pod you will be working in. During this time you will be meeting people and being introduced to the project and making sure you are set up for success.
- In your contributor months - You will be an active member of your pod, collaborating with design, developing features, fixing bugs, participating in code reviews, team meetings, stand-ups, sprint reviews and demos.

Familiarity with making games for mobile platforms
It is a requirement to be enrolled in a university program that supports a full-time internship as part of the education - and you need to be able to commute to our Copenhagen office on a daily basis.
We do not offer relocation, VISA, or house search assistance for internships.
