The Rotman International Trading Competition (RITC) is the world’s premier student trading competition, hosted annually by the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
Entering its 23rd year in 2027, RITC brings together teams from 40+ universities worldwide to test their skills in a series of real-time market simulations using the proprietary Rotman Interactive Trader (RIT) market simulator platform.
RITC offers an unparalleled opportunity to apply classroom concepts in a realistic market environment, network with peers from leading global institutions, and gain exposure to industry professionals. Description of Ideal Candidate
- Participants must be current undergraduate or graduate students in a degree program at the university they are representing.
- One team per university can compete.
- Four student members are required per team.
- You can register two additional students (substitute members to join your team.)
- Substitutes are optional – the competition includes cases that allow a maximum of four members to compete.
- Faculty advisors or staff members can accompany the team.
- Faculty advisors or staff members must register as an observer.
- Faculty advisors or staff members cannot compete as a team member.
- Teams are encouraged to demonstrate inclusivity and diversity in the selection of their members.
- The University of Toronto students should be prequalified via ROTC.
