Overview
The Visegrad–Taiwan Scholarship Program is operated and financed jointly by the fund and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan.
The aim of the program is to facilitate academic exchanges by providing support to PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers from V4 countries who intend to conduct research in Taiwan. The reciprocal part of the program supporting mobility of Taiwanese researchers to the V4 region is operated by the Taiwanese side.

Annexes to application form:
- copy of certified translation of MA or last obtained diploma
- verified confirmation of enrollment in PhD program issued by university/institution (on letterhead paper, stamped and signed by university authority), or verified confirmation of research involvement issued by relevant V4 university/institution
- letter of acceptance or equivalent document form the host university/institution no older than 3 months when applying
- working plan accepted by host university/institution no older than 3 months when applying
- two letters of recommendation (one from a supervisor/head of research group)

Eligible applicants:
- citizens of V4 countries with good knowledge of spoken and written English or Chinese
- PhD level: applicants with MA or equivalent degree who are enrolled in the first 4 years of full-time PhD program in a V4 country
- Postdoc level: applicants with PhD degree who conduct full-time research activities in V4 countries

Study/research length + support:
- Duration: from 1 up to 10 months
- Funding: €1,000 per month, plus a one-time €1,000 travel grant
