A training program focused on strengthening the role of youth work in building resilient communities, mitigating the impact of natural disasters on young people, and fostering Erasmus+/Youth projects addressing climate change challenges.

Details

Aim

To create a space for reflection, identification, and analysis of how youth work can contribute to building community resilience against natural disasters while empowering young people to take action.

Objectives

Raise awareness on climate change and its impact on young people.
Equip youth workers with tools to support communities before, during, and after disasters.
Foster collaboration and Erasmus+/Youth initiatives to tackle disaster-related challenges.
Strengthen the capacity of youth organizations in disaster preparedness and response.

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

The hosting NA of this offer will organise the accommodation and cover the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement
