Founded in 2021, the team set out to reinvent commercial insurance. The next-gen insurtech approach is based on a platform reducing insurance administration and offering preventative health benefits. 

IN A NUTSHELL: Because we’re growing, our sales team is looking for a new colleague (f/m/x) who could start around June 2024. As a Business Development & Sales Intern at grape, your mission is to support the distribution team in all business development & sales related activities. You will coordinate together with the distribution team all sales leads and broker relationships and overlooking the sales funnel from an end-to-end perspective. Your main task is to manage the sales lead funnel E2E, update the leads in every sales funnel stage while reaching out to brokers and clients. You will also manage the KPI sales cockpit, analyse the numbers and propose actions how we can improve our sales & broker relationships.

Your role

  • You will work closely together with the Chief Distribution Officer and other broker & sales team members
  • Managing the sales funnel E2E:
    1. Manage inflow of broker tender requests
    2. Qualify tenders
    3. Manage successfully tenders through all stages of the sales funnel
    4. Coordinate offer structuring & elaboration with Underwriting team
    5. Manage partners (brokers and risk carriers)
    6. Prepare and send offers to brokers
    7. Organise and conduct follow-up with brokers and clients
    8. Organise onboarding of new customers
  • Analyse KPI sales cockpit: analyse KPIs on a daily basis, propose process improvements, increase conversion rates
  • Keep an overview of all broker & client relationship
  • Precise documentation of prospect, client and broker interaction in the CRM (e.g. documenting calls & meetings), including the coordination of next steps and handover of information to the Account Executive (AE) or Chief Distribution Officer
  • Taking over administrative tasks that support the optimisation of the overall sales process (e.g. extracting data and deriving educated actions)
