Overview

You will support our Lead in Sales and Business Development operationally in sales at &why. You can expect an exciting mix of tasks including preparatory acquisition, analysis & research tasks, offer management and customer contact. Are you interested in a long-term job (at least 6 months) 3 days per week (approx. 16-20 hours, more during semester breaks)? Then we look forward to getting to know you!

Responsibilities

  • You will regularly create strategic growth analyses, research potential contacts, evaluate market potential and customer segments with the support of experienced colleagues and therefore make a valuable contribution to new customer business for &why, so that we can develop more brands into digital leading companies in relevant segments.

  • Depending on your interest and preferences, you will independently take over the first contact after the training phase, inform potential customers individually about our service portfolio, support the team in customer acquisition and arrange sales appointments & workshops.

  • You are responsible for the regular review of relevant tenders - you analyze the bid requirements in terms of feasibility, profitability and technical feasibility, uncover potential risks and coordinate the compilation of the final bid documents.

  • You take over (partial) projects and support our sales team in specific business development activities and create presentations and sales materials that strengthen and simplify our sales processes 

  • You work on the optimization of internal processes, support in sales controlling, make sure that our CRM system is always maintained and complete in order to be able to create regular sales reports and forecasts

Your profile

  • You are enthusiastic about communication (by phone & in writing), have already gained some practical experience in sales / distribution through working student activities or internships in the IT environment, preferably in an agency, start-up or consulting firm

  • You are a "digital native", are interested in our service portfolio and working in a CRM system is part of your daily business

  • You are enthusiastic, have a good understanding of complex interrelationships and are able to convince people with your ideas and your competence in finding solutions - and you don't let an initial "but" or "no" throw you off track 

  • You have an eye for detail and the ability to work carefully, systematically and quickly on operational tasks in a technical environment, coupled with analytical thinking and a high level of numerical understanding

  • You are an enthusiastic team player, but appreciate working independently including your own area of responsibility

  • You have strong written & verbal German and English skills

Basically, you should be interested in learning new skills, familiarizing yourself with new topics and providing digital consulting to companies.
