The Institute of Historical Research offers several Doctoral Fellowships in History, for postgraduate students in the writing-up stage of the doctoral research.

The British Scholarship Trust is a registered charity which awards scholarships to post-graduate students from the former Yugoslavia in order to pursue specialist studies for short periods in the United Kingdom. The Trust allocates between 10 and 15 stipends each year.
