The Institute of Historical Research offers several Doctoral Fellowships in History, for postgraduate students in the writing-up stage of the doctoral research.

GREAT Scholarships offer students from 18 countries the opportunity to have £10,000 towards their tuition fees for a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate courses.

The Women in STEM scholarship programme provides funding for women from eligible countries to complete a one-year master's degree in the UK. The British Scholarship Trust is a registered charity which awards scholarships to post-graduate students from the former Yugoslavia in order to pursue specialist studies for short periods in the United Kingdom. The Trust allocates between 10 and 15 stipends each year.
