Work Visas in Israel

Should you be invited to work for a company in Israel, you are to apply for a B/1 Work visa. This visa is given to those who have been approved for a limited period of time or as agreed by the organization you will be working for. Below are the following requirements for this type of visa:

  • Passport that contains at least two blank pages and is not more than 10 years old. Validity of the passport should be 6 months after the date of exit from Israel
  • Two passport photos with 5cm x 5cm size
  • Completed application form that may be downloaded here
  • Verified certificate of good conduct
  • Medical certificate from a recognized hospital of the consulate. Blood tests should cover inter alia, normal results in tests for tuberculosis, hepatitis, and AIDS
  • Declaration of the taking of a fingerprint
  • Payment for the application fee, please see the table of fees at this link
  • Other requirements that may be required by the consulate during your appointment

  1. Gather all your relevant documents.

Note: Should you come from a Jewish descent (with Jewish grandparents), regardless of your birthplace,  you may be entitled to get an Israeli citizenship through the program of the Israeli State called Aliyah. You may get further information of the said program in this link.
