About the DWS Internship   

The DWS Internship offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experiences through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. With strong support from mentors and managers, you will be challenged to grow while gaining valuable insights into the world of Asset Management. This is an excellent way to determine whether a career in Financial Services & Asset Management meets your personal aspirations.     

Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. Program the following year. 

About Corporate Strategy  

The Corporate Strategy Team, which is part of the Executive Division, manages the full corporate strategy process – from analysis to strategy formulation, execution, and implementation. It is organized along three teams: Strategy Development, Strategy Implementation and M&A.

About the Strategy Implementation Team 

The Strategy Implementation Team supports the execution of DWS’s strategic priorities and company-wide transformation agenda. The team focuses on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that translate strategy into practical execution and measurable business outcomes. To ensure that DWS is delivering on its objectives, the team supports executing change and business growth by driving strategic projects in a first time-right, fast-paced, and global environment, reporting results into the Executive Board. 

As our DWS Intern, you will: 

  • Support strategic transformation projects by helping coordinate activities, track progress, and prepare project materials to ensure successful delivery. 
  • Research, analyze, and solve problems to support strategic initiatives and key business decisions. 
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to support project meetings, workshops and working groups 
  • Utilize project management tools, methodologies, and team standards to deliver high-quality outputs.  
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and status updates for senior management and project stakeholders.

Description of Ideal Candidate

The Team is looking for: 

  • Advanced English skills; German skills are preferred but not required  
  • Studies in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in turning data into actionable insights. 
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools; eager to learn and apply new technologies. 
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills , with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of tasks. 
  • You must meet all core and role eligibility requirements
