Development is moving fast at Toms Group, Denmark’s largest producer of confectionery and chocolate. The same applies to our ambitions within AI and digital transformation. We are therefore looking for a new AI Student Assistant to join our IT department and help drive AI initiatives across the organization. 

About the job

As a Student Assistant, you will play an active role in exploring, developing, and implementing AI solutions that can support and improve business processes across Toms Group.

In close collaboration with the Toms AI Forum and colleagues across the organization, part of your role will also be to help identify relevant AI opportunities and support users in adopting new tools and ways of working.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

  • Helping design, build, and improve AI assistants and AI agents
  • Exploring and testing new AI tools and use cases
  • Supporting the implementation of AI solutions across the organization
  • Train and guide colleagues in the use of AI
  • Contributing to identifying where AI can create value in business processes

You will be based at our office in Ballerup with flexibility during exam periods, and we expect the position to be around 15–20 hours per week. You will report to Per Lerche Møller and become part of the IT department, working closely with the Toms AI Forum and colleagues across the business.

About you

You do not need to tick every box, but we imagine that you:

  • Have a strong interest in applied AI and how it can create real business value
  • Are curious, structured, and able to work independently
  • Enjoy explaining technical topics in a simple and practical way
  • Have good collaboration and communication skills
  • Have experience or interest in working with AI tools and technologies
  • Are comfortable communicating in English
  • Are in the final year of your bachelor’s degree or about to begin your MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data, or a similar relevant program
