As a Data Analyst intern, you will support the Japan Sales Finance team and play role in driving Apple Japan's business growth by analyzing financial performance and providing insights.

Description
During the internship period, you will work on the following area:
- Data analysis and reporting:
- Collaborate with Finance/Sales teams to identify key performance metrics and reporting requirements.
- Utilize Excel, SQL, and Tableau to analyze financial and sales data and develop interactive business intelligence dashboards to visualize.
- Business Process Improvements:
- Develop and maintain automated reporting processes to streamline data collection and analysis.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Interaction with:
- Japan Sales Finance team
- Sales Managers and their respective sales teams
- Sales Finance team in Korea, Australia, and Worldwide (US Cupertino)
- Start date, end date negotiable
- Must be a student during time of internship
- Available for part time internship (28H a week) during 9:00 -5:30 on weekdays
- Available to work both in Roppongi Hills office and virtual settings

Minimum Qualifications
- Analytics, or a related field who is willing to participate in the Internship Program for 3 months
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL with familiarity of Tableau or other business intelligence tools for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Either currently or for the entirety of internship, enrolled in degree level education
- Able to commute to Apple Japan Office (MUST)
- Business Level Proficiency in Japanese and English

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
