The role

ARDIAN’s Compliance department is looking for a Compliance Intern for its Luxembourgish subsidiary who will:

  • Work with the Luxembourg Compliance team in cooperation with global Ardian's teams based in multiple jurisdictions, in particular Paris, London, Switzerland and Jersey;

  • Help perform AML/CFT due diligences on investments performed by the investment teams;

  • Monitor Ardian Funds’ transfer agents’ activities on AML/CFT customers due diligences;

  • Prepare reports for the Luxembourgish RC and assist him for its reporting to the Funds’ Board of managers;

  • Review of the Funds’ Board of Managers’ agenda and minutes with regard to Compliance topics;

  • Legal monitoring in relation to Luxembourg investment funds;

  • Increase employee awareness toward compliance issues (training);

  • Review and input on new Ardian vehicles established or created or to be registered;

  • More generally, provide other assistance as required on an on-going basis.

About the Team

The Compliance team is composed of 23 members around the world and is constantly growing. The Compliance department monitors legislative and regulatory developments in the various jurisdictions in which Ardian operates in order to remain consistent with the laws and regulations promulgated by the financial authorities. The team as a global view on Ardian activities and take part to various operational process such as investments and fundraising. The Compliance team is also in charge of communication with financial authorities and monitors topics related to conflict of interest, market abuse, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption etc.

  • Fluent in English and French.

Profile

  • Educational background: 3rd year or Master degree level in law or economy, strong interest for regulatory framework.
