YOUR TASKS

Join our dynamic and international team at the Beiersdorf headquarters in Hamburg and support us in shaping the future of financial reporting and analysis: 

  • Actively support the Analytics and Governance (Finance) team in day-to-day operations, gaining valuable insight into global financial reporting and planning processes.
  • Contribute to the development of global financial reporting dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
  • Help implement data quality checks and gain experience working with databases and data models to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, international affiliates, and global business functions, gaining a well-rounded understanding of finance processes in a multinational environment.
  • As a full-fledged team member, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your own projects and are encouraged to contribute and implement your own ideas.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for various ongoing projects, such as maintaining the data catalogue, creating training materials, tracking user engagement metrics (e.g., click rates), and more.

Description of Ideal Candidate

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are currently enrolled in a university program (or applying for an internship after completing a bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration or a related field, ideally with a focus on Finance or Controlling.
  • Prior experience (e.g., internships or working student roles) in finance, controlling, or IT is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive team player who also enjoys working independently. Communicative, results-driven, and ambitious.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in English; good command of German is an advantage.

YOUR SALARY

Curious about your salary? Your work at Beiersdorf will be fairly remunerated, both with a voluntary internship and with a compulsory internship you earn 2.100 € per month. For a working student activity, our salary is 20,73€ per hour.
