Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corporate environment, allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professional. As an Intern, Battery Knowledge Management, you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members, focusing on understanding the EV battery system landscape to strengthen battery domain knowledge management.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities)
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on various EV battery architectures and design principles.
- Investigate and compare EV battery architectures of different OEMs/Manufacturers.
- Explore and interpret benchmarking teardown data, Bill of materials and exploded-view drawings.
- Develop a robust data backbone to manage battery knowledge including complex assemblies (gluing, welding), structural design, interconnections (thermal mgmt.), and pack architectures.
- Prototype & validate related disassembly & repair knowledge modules, or relevant tools and solutions.
- Define relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to justify economical and technical benefits.
- Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and presentations, and support demonstrations for project stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Students currently pursuing undergraduate/graduate studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or computer science.
- Familiar with EV battery systems, EV battery architecture and design.
- Experience in EV battery system management with exposure to software development.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data extraction and data analysis.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and possess great problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (January 2026 onwards).
