Details
This position is based in our European Headquarters in Helmond, the Netherlands and is part of a small but dynamic Global Corporate Communications team, reporting to the Global Communications Project Manager, also based in Helmond.
- Duration: 6 months (with a possibility to extend)
- Fullltime: 40 hours per week
- Start date: April 2022.
- Possibility to work hybrid (part office, part home, with maximum 2 days/wk from home)
- We are looking explicit for a student who does not have to fulfil a graduation assignment but can be fully dedicated to the key responsibilities of the internship.
- Please note that this vacancy is for a locally hired position. As such, we have a strong preference for candidates already based in the Netherlands. Dorel Juvenile will not attempt to obtain immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver world-class communications packages to support our company and our values positioning with our markets
- Support with managing global communications calendar
- Manage our digital and offline contents – social media assets, presentations, email newsletters etc.)
- Research and prepare trend analysis on a periodical basis
- Liaise with agencies, third parties and internal stakeholders
- Support the team with projects, day to day activities and ad hoc requests

Your profile
- Finalizing a Master in a Communication-related studie
- Excellent English speaker, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, confident student and a good communication skills.
- A self-starter who has a creative flare, pays attention to detail and is passionate about digital communication.
- Able to work collaboratively on multiple projects within an international team
- Experienced in using social media apps and social media publishing tools

- A fast learner who is also passionate about learning and assessing how to apply your theoretical knowledge in a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced environment
- Experience with PowerPoint and Excel is a Pre; If not, we will make you a Pro.
