ABOUT US

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

As a Summer Intern at Einride, you'll be joining a top talent team of ambitious, creative, kind-hearted people who challenge conventional thinking, think big, and aim for zero emissions.

Within the Research and Public Affairs team you would support in finding more data and material on incentives that affect our business case in different countries relating to the cost of emitting and restrictions for emissions.

Such tasks could, for example, include:

  • Overview of potential zero-emission zones and discussions on zero-emission zones in key markets or potential markets
  • Overview of use/discussion of other incentives in cities regarding HDV (i.e. differentiated congestion charges, parking rules, use of bus lanes, night-time deliveries etc.)
  • Overview of differentiated km-levies in key or potential key markets (both what is in place and what is being discussed)
  • Overview of analyses of forecasts in diesel-prices and taxes in other European countries. Also overview on if key or potential markets will have difficulties reaching ESR-targets, and what that could imply for possible additional measures to curb emissions in road transport
