About the department and the role
xScale Treasury Operations focuses on liquidity management, external financing, and treasury process improvement for the global xScale business, Equinix’s Hyperscale business, which partners with investors in joint ventures to extend cloud leadership and meet the demand for data centers designed specifically for AI training and other compute-intensive tasks. This Treasury Intern position supports the xScale Treasury Operations team in EMEA and requires close partnership with the Global Treasury and Finance teams, xScale Management team, Lending Banks, Tax, Legal and IT.
What you will be doing (Project/Responsibilities/Tasks)

Meet the liquidity needs of EMEA xScale portfolio through cash flow forecasting, debt draws, and investing of excess cash balances

Prepare documentation and support the capital call process for the EMEA xScale portfolio

Produce periodic and ad-hoc Treasury reporting for xScale investors and internal Equinix team

Support quarterly Treasury SOX testing and external audits

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement of Treasury tools and technology

Working on current business projects and solutions that will add true value and have a big impact on our business

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2026 -September 2027)

Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between July to September, depending on your school system)

Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English

Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others

Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software
