We are now looking for a Machine Learning Intern who wants to work in a start-up environment in football. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing data consultancy company in sports while gaining valuable experience.

FACTS is a start-up that provides data consultancy to Playeragents, Players and Clubs worldwide. With our services we give answers to questions like:which clubs are interestingfora certain player, what value does a player represent and other data related football questions. Inthe first threeyearsof its existence, FACTS acquired over 100partners in most European countries.

Job purpose

One of the main services that we provide for agents are the transfer analysis reports. With the reports, agents can make data-based decisions for and with their player. The transfer model in those reports is econometric/machine learning based and in constant need of improvement. Next to improving the transfer model, we are always searching for more insights we can retrieve from our data pool using machine learning techniques. You need to make sure all models we use are up to date and working optimally.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Enhance current models
Make sure the latest machine learning techniques are applied within FACTS models
Find new insights based on training and developing new models.
