As part of the Legal Team, your main responsibilities will be:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain legal files and documents
  • Assist with legal data entry projects
  • Prepare documentation for new and existing processes
  • Assist with contract review
  • Assist with legal research
  • Assist with preparation of internal memoranda
  • Assist with departmental communications and projects
  • Assist with management of litigation portfolio

  • Legal Principles: Understanding of fundamental legal concepts and doctrines. 
  • Legal Research Databases: Familiarity with resources like LexisNexis and Westlaw. 
  • Legal Terminology: Proficiency in using legal language and understanding specialized terms. 
  • Administrative Procedures: Knowledge of basic legal office procedures and practices. 
  • Legal Research: Ability to conduct thorough research using various resources.
  • Legal Writing: Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and memoranda.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Organization: Ability to manage case files, maintain records, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
