Overview

For our Ferrero Group HQ in Luxembourg, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Finance department - Accounting and Reporting team for a 6-month internship starting in September.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support month-end closing activities in line with the Group calendar, contributing to the timely preparation of both Group (IFRS) and statutory (Lux GAAP) reporting. You will assist in ensuring that financial data is properly compiled and aligned with reporting requirements.

You will support coordination with various teams, including Controlling, Administration, IT, Group Reporting, and Tax, helping to address topics related to financial statement preparation. Thanks to your attention to detail, you will contribute to monitoring and reconciling data across different SAP modules to support the accuracy and consistency of financial figures.

You will also support the preparation of data and analysis for intercompany processes, contributing to reconciliation activities and issue follow-up. In addition, you will assist in maintaining reporting dashboards, improving recurring processes, and supporting internal control and compliance activities. Thanks to your analytical mindset, you will contribute to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from different stakeholders.

About You:

  • You will bring your Degree in Finance, Accounting demonstrating a strong educational background in relevant fields. You have a good understanding of accounting principles, including key elements of the Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet.Thanks to your knowledge of debit and credit entries, you are able to follow and support financial processes with accuracy and consistency. 
  • You have strong interpersonal, team-working, and leadership skills. You demonstrate the ability to deliver while respecting deadlines. With proactive communication abilities, you will effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and across departments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary for handling data and generating reports. You have a problem-solving approach and able to work with numbers confidently. 
  • You possess a high level of financial, accounting, and controlling knowledge, as well as a solid understanding of commercial economics. You are comfortable working with data and enjoy solving problems. Thanks to your analytical thinking and attention to detail, you are able to handle complex information with accuracy and reliability.
  • To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.
