Your responsibilities as a Global Commercial Trainee:

  • You will Support Marketing & Corporate Communications in developing strategy, content, campaigns, and storytelling materials that enhance brand visibility and strengthen internal and external communications.
  • You will contribute to commercial strategy initiatives by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to support data‑driven strategic recommendations.
  • You will assist the Product team with research, benchmarking, and the development of new product concepts, including value propositions and commercial feasibility assessments.
  • You will prepare presentations, reports, and insights for senior leadership, ensuring clear narrative structure and alignment with Vantage Towers’ brand and strategic priorities.
  • You will collaborate across markets and departments to support cross‑functional projects that link marketing, commercial strategy, and product development.
  • You will participate in customer‑focused initiatives by helping evaluate customer requirements and translating them into commercial and product-related improvements.

Description of Ideal Candidate

Your profile:

  • Education: You are a recent master’s graduate in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering (with commercial relevance) with strong academic performance.  
  • Practical Experiences: You have gained practical experience through internships or working student positions, ideally within a Commercial function and in multinational environments. Basic knowledge of telecom infrastructure or the TowerCo industry is an advantage. You understand commercial operations such as pricing, contracts, revenue, and cost structures. You are able to analyze financial and commercial data (KPIs, margins, forecasts) and are familiar with reporting tools, CRM, or ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Skills: You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, communicate effectively, and organize tasks efficiently. You are able to manage negotiations, resolve conflicts, and handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism, while maintaining a high attention to detail. You are proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiar with Copilot.
  • Language Proficiency: You speak English fluently; Spanish or German is a plus.
  • Mindset: You are curious, proactive, and energized by solving complex challenges.
  • Motivation: You thrive in international, cross-functional environments and are motivated to grow into a future leadership role. You also have a strong interest in marketing and creative communications, as well as future commercial topics including strategy, product innovation, and the TowerCo industry.
