Overview

We are looking for an engineer for a curricular or extra-curricular internship at our Pisticci plant. The selected candidate will be involved in an important project to implement Maintenance Standard Work and develop Autonomous Maintenance sheets. The project aims to optimize maintenance processes and increase the operational efficiency of the plants.

Main Activities:

  • Analysis of existing maintenance processes and identification of improvement areas
  • Development and implementation of Standard Work procedures for maintenance activities
  • Creation of Autonomous Maintenance sheets for line operators
  • Mapping of maintenance activities and definition of optimal operational sequences
  • Collaboration with production and maintenance teams for the implementation of new procedures
  • Support in training personnel on new maintenance methodologies
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented procedures and proposing corrective actions

Description of Ideal Candidate

Requirements:

  • Ongoing or recently completed degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical)
  • Preferably knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Manufacturing principles, and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Interest in maintenance management systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and maintenance manuals
  • Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
