Overview
In this student role, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment focussing on innovation but are expected to bring self-drive, curiosity, and a passion for learning. You are expected to identify and learn about technological domains that are relevant to success of the project.
Details
You will:
- Build a flavor of perception stack using a baseline implementation in development environment
- Build applications of HD map attributes to key functions of the perception stack
- Identify relevant portions of HD specs in relation to L2/L2+ and L3 so as to enhance their effectiveness of the function
- Engage with architecture and engineering as well research groups within and outside HERE to build an innovative solution fusing map and sensor data
- Deliver test results in a simulated environment
- Work with engineering and architecture teams to build out and test components for deployments to test fleet.
- Work with engineering teams to automate collection and analysis of field tests and use the outcome to improve the function implementation

Who are you?
- Master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field at a university within the EU. Ideally, you are enrolled in a program with a focus on autonomous driving, intelligent systems, or related fields.
- Demonstrable interest in use of AI/ML in autonomous driving
- Understanding of foundations of AL/ML and its applications in autonomous driving
- Reasonable grasp at coding in system programming languages (eg. C/C++, Rust)
- Hands-on experience in data analytics tooling (eg. Python ecosystem, Tableau, Excel)
