Overview
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan are pleased to announce the "Heydar Aliyev - International Education Grant Program" for 2026-2027 academic year. This program is dedicated to the exceptional role of the founder of modern Azerbaijan, the brilliant political and state figure, and the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, in securing a deserving position for the Republic of Azerbaijan in the international relations system. The grant program was founded in order to support the education of foreigners in Azerbaijani higher education institutions.
Details
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the program is to contribute to the development of human capital in other countries and to support the education of foreign nationals in higher education institutions of Azerbaijan by granting scholarships on full-time basis at the Bachelor’s (including general medicine education), Master's (including medical residency), Doctoral levels, as well as the preparatory courses.
Grant Duration
The grant will be offered annually for a period of 5 years, starting from the 2026–2027 academic year.
Number of Grants
100 educational grants will be provided annually.
