The Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration is recruiting a motivated arbitration intern to join SICANA Inc., our case management team based in New York, for a duration of three months.

The role

Your learning opportunities and tasks include:

  • Reading and drafting documents related to arbitration cases
  • Conducting legal research and reading legal documents
  • Preparing conferences
  • Translating legal documents
  • Conducting ad hoc assignments as requested by the teams and the services of the Secretariat to which the intern may be assigned

Requirements

Do not hesitate to apply if you:

  • Have a background in international commercial arbitration.
  • Are a student (J.D. candidate or LL.M. candidate), or have been recently admitted to the bar.
  • Can demonstrate course work or prior practice of international commercial arbitration.

Cost/funding for participants

Important information before applying

  • The internship is strictly full-time (Monday to Friday, during regular business hours) and in-person in New York.
  • Non-US candidates must be eligible to work in the US for the duration of the internship.
    SICANA, Inc. cannot grant scholarships.
  • You will receive a monthly stipend of about US$1.500.
  • You are responsible for arranging your travel and accommodation and the required medical insurance coverage for the internship duration.
