We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Global Events team and gain hands-on experience in the organisation of high-end international events.

We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations – from the World Trade Organization to the UN climate process – championing the needs of local business in global decision making. We also provide the world's premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC's unique independence, integrity, and expertise.

The role

Your responsibilities and learning opportunities include:

  • Logistical support with the organisation of ICC events such as: 20th ICC New York Conference on International Arbitration, ICC-FIDIC Conference on Construction Contracts and Dispute Resolution, 45th ICC Institute of World Business Law Annual Conference, 23rd ICC Miami Conference on International Arbitration;
  • Administrative tasks and preparation of event documents, including evaluation forms, biographies, PowerPoint presentations, speaker charts, speaker nameplates and webpage updates;
  • Promotion of our upcoming events including correspondence with contacts and partners, designing promotional graphics on Canva and drafting promotional material;
  • Research for potential supporters;
  • Post-event wrap-up including statistics and preparing the executive report;
  • Any other necessary tasks required to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.

Requirements

Do not hesitate to apply if you:

  • Are a student interested in pursuing a career in event management and/or international commercial law and arbitration.
  • Have strong academic credentials.
  • Have prior work experience.
  • Are fluent in English both orally and in writing. Knowledge of other languages such as French or Spanish would be an asset.
  • Have a good computer skills.
