Overview

The Global Partnerships & Development (World Chambers Federation) Department is looking for their new intern starting January 2026 for a duration of 6 months.

Details

As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 170 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to “make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere”. We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations – from the World Trade Organization to the UN climate process – championing the needs of local business in global decision making.

The convening power of our global network enables us to set rules and standards that facilitate over $17 trillion dollars in trade each year – as well as providing tailored products and digital services that directly address the real challenges faced by businesses operating internationally. We also provide the world's premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC's unique independence, integrity, and expertise.

The role

  • Support the coordination, development, and implementation of the WCF’s range of services. This includes organizing and managing key WCF projects in collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and teamwork.
  • You will also be responsible for conducting research as needed, which may involve arranging and coordinating interviews as part of the research process.
  • Expansion of the ICC Certificate of Origin (CO) Accreditation Chain and marketing and promotion of ICC new trade tool “Genesis” to chambers worldwide;
  • Assessment of ICC’s existing Origin assets—including the verification platform and e-certification engine—to identify opportunities for revenue growth. This includes coordinating interviews with chambers and external partners, as well as designing and executing global surveys to assess stakeholder needs;
  • Development of new products and services in the field of origin;
  • Planning and logistical arrangements of the International Certificate of Origin (CO) Council meeting in Paris, including its working group sessions;
  • The intern may also be required to work directly with the Head of WCF Global Services on a variety of topics, including but not limited to the Chamber Benchmarking Tool, ICC One Click, or transnational chambers, depending on the department’s priorities and needs.
  • Note that the intern can be asked, depending on the department’s needs, to support cross-cutting projects.
