Overview
We are looking for a motivated university student to join our testing and automation team for a 3-month internship. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in modern software testing methodologies, cloud infrastructure, and cutting-edge automation frameworks. You will be an integral part of our sprint cycle, helping ensure the quality and stability of our platform through manual release testing, automated script development, and the adoption of cutting-edge Generative AI tools.
Details
Sprint & Release Testing
- Participate actively in Release Testing at the end of every sprint to ensure new features meet quality standards.
- Execute manual test cases, log defects with clear steps to reproduce, and verify bug fixes.
- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand sprint requirements and identify potential edge cases.
Test Automation & AI Acceleration
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our core user scenarios.
- Work closely with the automation team to expand our test coverage using Playwright and Python.
- Leverage Amazon Q and Kiro to accelerate script generation, optimize test workflows, and rapidly debug failing test suites.
- Review automated test execution results, identify flaky tests, and assist in maintaining the automation codebase.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Gain exposure to testing software deployed on an AWS stack.
- Monitor cloud-based application logs and environments during testing cycles to troubleshoot issues.

- Current Student: Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of Python (OOP concepts, data structures).
- Testing Curiosity: A strong interest in Quality Assurance, software testing methodologies, and automation.
- Tech-Savvy / AI Enthusiast: Interest or experience in utilizing AI-assisted coding tools (like Amazon Q) to optimize development workflows.

Practical information
This is an unpaid internship of min. 2 months, starting from September which will take place in Brussels and will consist of a 39-hour week. We are looking for students who are, for the full extent of their internship, still enrolled in an educational institution and who can come to the office in Brussels.
