Overview

FIVS is an international federation serving primarily trade associations and companies in the alcohol beverage industry (wine, spirits and, beer) from around the world. FIVS represents its members on issues of common interest in front of national governments, as well as international organisations) via its role as a nongovernmental observer. 

Details

PROJECTS:

  • Communications: Assist with website improvement and maintenance, draft FIVS Alerts on a variety of topics (economic, environmental and social sustainability), assist in creating corporate documents (annual reports, brochures, etc.).
  • Policy Research: Monitor and report on policy issues related to the alcohol beverage industry.      
  • Translation: Translate website pages (English to French and Spanish) and other corporate documents.
  • Events Management: Assist in organising the FIVS 2017 Cape Town Meetings (presentations, logistics, invoices, etc.).
  • Administrative Matters: Assist in the administration of day-to-day operations; organise Working Group meetings, as well as draft meeting minutes, and report on issues of interest.

Description of Ideal Candidate

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree with a major in Communications, Business Administration or International Relations.
  • Fluent English and deep knowledge of French is required.
  • Excellent writing skills in English and French. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills are an asset (Wordpress, Adobe InDesign, etc.).
  • Knowledge of/or interest in the global alcohol beverage sector would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ability to be part of a small team as well as to work independently, creativity and reliability.
  • Proven capacity to work in a multicultural environment.

Cost/funding for participants

CONTRACT: Paid internship (+500€/month), internship agreement necessary, full-time.
