The Education and Training team from ICC Dispute Resolution Services is looking for an intern for a period of 6 months, starting ideally in January 2024.

We also provide the world’s premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC’s unique independence, integrity, and expertise. The Education and Training team from ICC Dispute Resolution Services is looking for an intern for a period of 6 months, starting ideally in January 2024. 

The role 

  • Logistical support with the organisation of our upcoming events and trainings.  
  • Different administrative tasks and preparation of documents, including evaluation forms, biographies, PowerPoint presentations, speaker charts, speaker nameplates and webpage updates.  
  • Promotion of upcoming events including correspondence with contacts and partners, preparing email sends and drafting promotional material.  
  • Research for potential supporters and applicants for the training.  
  • Post-event wrap-up including the recording of event statistics and the preparation of the executive report.  
  • Updating statistics on the membership of the ICC Institute of World Business Law and its Council. 
  • Drafting minutes and assisting in preparing background documents and briefing material for meetings. 
  • Any other necessary tasks required to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.  
  • Possibility to attend trainings and conferences taking place in Paris during the internship

Description of Ideal Candidate

Requirements 

  • Preference will be given to students in marketing, management, business, international relations, dispute resolution and other similar disciplines with strong academic credentials and prior work or internship experience.   
  • Fluency in English is a requirement. Knowledge of French and/or another language would be an advantage.  
  • Strong attention to detail and a rigorous attitude to work is necessary. 
  • Skills to use computer tools are important, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams Meeting, Internet, Zoom and PDF. Knowledge of registration platforms would be a plus. 
  • The candidate needs to still be registered as a student during the time of the internship. Recent graduates who are not anymore enrolled in an educational programme are therefore not eligible to do an internship at ICC.

Cost/funding for participants

  • The 6-month internship programmes are full-time and the average working week is 35 hours.  
  • The intern will receive a monthly gratification of about EUR 750 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
