Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Finance & Sales Operations (FSO) Trainee is a recent university graduate looking to learn a foundation of critical skills to launch a career in finance and business analytics through a rotation program.  The program runs for 1.5 years, composed of two 9-month rotations through various functions within the FSO team.

This position provides the organization by providing financial and operational business performance analyses to management and coordinating efficient allocation of commercial assets. The trainee gathers data, prepares and summarizes recommendations for strategic plans, future requirements and operating forecasts.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination, facilitation, logistics and fulfillment of various internal robotic systems supporting Commercial activities
  • Provide insight analytics to support the business decision making process within Finance, Sales and Marketing
  • Design and implement scalable processes to report key business metrics
  • Identify and drive implementation of cost reduction and process improvement projects

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in e.g. Business Administration, Finance or Economics
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, intermediate skills in German, additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service
  • Strategic, analytical, and solution-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously develop new skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Eagerness to learn business systems and applications (such as Tableau, SQL)
