Allianz S.p.A. offers a merit-based Full Tuition Waiver to be awarded to a recent graduate coming from EU Central Eastern European Countries.

The merit-based scholarship covers the whole tuition fee of the Master in Insurance & Risk Management (€ 25.000) and it's named after Ugo Irneri. The beneficiary of the Irneri Scholarship will have to carry out a 6 months internship (from Mid-June 2024) at Allianz Italia offices in Milan or in Trieste.

MIRM at a glance

The Master in Insurance & Risk Management combines technical expertise with general management training (roughly 1/3 of the program) and personal development: a strong blend of skills, essential to aspiring leaders. MIRM approach is concrete and business oriented: participants develop technical skills, a managerial approach and leadership strategies. Participants are trained as well-rounded managers with specific skills and high emotional intelligence, equipped take part in international teams.

The Curriculum includes Core Courses, Elective Courses, Leadership Dynamics & Accountability Track, and the final thesis. Participants can customize their course line-up and extend their studies through company internships, international exchange programs or study tours.

The Career Services department supports each participant from the beginning to the end of the program. The Master has a placement rate of 90% (after 6 months of graduation) largely because the program is designed along with major market players.

Once a month the Steering Committee meets, which includes the Master's management team, 4 partner companies (Allianz, EY, Generali, KPMG) and external consultants to keep the program up-to-speed with current and innovative content.

  • Academic degree (or equivalent qualification) in Economics or in a technical subject.
  • Good working knowledge of English.
  • Less than 27 years old as of 31 December 2024.
  • A good knowledge of Italian language is considered an asset.
  • Preference is given to citizens of Central and Eastern European Countries, such as: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.

Cost/funding for participants

The Scholarship will cover the FULL TUITION FEE (€ 25.000). In case of course abandonment or exclusion for any reason, no amount of the Scholarship will be paid or reimbursed.
