Position Objective

Porsche Digital Inc. (PDI) is looking for a Finance & Venture Capital Intern for a 6-month tenure to provide support to the PDI Team in all relevant aspects. The position requires a motivated, self-driven intern to provide support with various aspects of Finance and Venture Capital duties while displaying an innovative mindset through process improvement and special projects. This position will gain valuable insight into PDI by collaborating with various departments within the company while enhancing their skill set as they apply their learned knowledge in a corporate setting.

Primary Responsibilities

Finance:

  • Support in Accounts Payable related activities.
  • Support in month-end billing activities.
  • Reconciliation of GLs and credit card payments.
  • Actively identify process enhancement opportunities for automation to create efficiencies.
  • Support in organization and maintenance of document retention and archiving.

Venture Capital:

  • Research and support the development of insights around emerging technology trends.
  • Support in the preparation of due diligence for investment opportunities (e.g., financial modeling, competitive analysis, market sizing).
  • Review cold outreach opportunities and support investment team on evaluation calls with new prospects.
  • Keep our day to day organized; contribute to maintaining our pipeline and reporting documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree student or recent graduate with a specialization in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or another related field

Skills/Competencies/Experience

  • Ability to multitask and deliver high quality work under tight timelines.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency (written and oral) in German considered an asset.
