The Opportunity

We are looking for a Commercial Intern to join our EMED (European and Mediterranean Distributors) team in Eysins. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the company’s growth objectives and strategies. You will be providing operational support to the Europe Commercial team in the process of managing Distributors as well as Direct to retail accounts by communicating with internal as well as with external stakeholders (Commercial Area Managers, Marketing, Digital, Business Intelligence, Retail as well as Finance).

Geographical scope: Europe non-affiliate countries (Nordics, Baltics, Central, Eastern and South Europe, Turkey, and Israel)

What you'll get to do

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: help analyze business data, prepare reports, and identify trends to improve sales strategy.
  • Meetings coordination and follow-up: Support the Commercial team by coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-up actions are executed promptly. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • Global accounts support: assist in coordination of business reviews and trade plans monitoring for global accounts. Work closely with distributors, EMED and HQ team to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Pricing: assist and support the Commercial Area Managers on pricing process and tools (store checks gathering, analysis, proposal based on guidelines and manage pricing system upload and follow-up)
  • Direct accounts and other special projects: Support team on forecasting, planning, ordering process, assist in listing of novelties and manage product assortment. Coordinate internally as well as with customer care team to ensure smooth process of orders.
  • Back-office administration: Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents. Contribute to overall team efficiency.

Description of Ideal Candidate

We'd love to meet you if you have

Experience: Experience / Interest in luxury and/or fragrances industry will be highly valued.
Education: Bsc. degree in Business Administration or similar.
Languages: Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
Competencies: 

  • Proactive, autonomous, and enthusiastic learner with strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multi-tasks and interact cross-departments.
  • Analytical mindset with focus on attention to details
  • Digital Savvy

Specific Knowledge required: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and ideally Power BI knowledge is a must. 

The internship is proposed for 6 to 9 months. Start date: ASAP.
