The Launch department at Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a Intern/working student (m/f/d) Mathematical Modeling.

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated intern/working student (m/f/d) to support our launch site team. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply with us.

Your Tasks

Build and maintain a detailed mathematical multibody model for our launch vehicle
Development of a coordinate system transformation algorithm
Development of computing modules linking to our simulation software
Perform statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulations

Description of Ideal Candidate

Your Qualificatons

Bachelor or Master studies in Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Mathematics or related discipline
Basics of statistics, analysis, model generation, and verification
Experience in working with Python, Matlab, Simulink
Proven experience using Matlab Toolboxes
Knowledge in state-space representation and high fidelity statistics
Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
Self-independent, hands-on mentality and a structured way of working
