About the role

Our Customer Service Intern will join the Order-to-Cash (OtC) team, focusing on providing essential support to our Customer Service Representatives and ensuring operational excellence. This role is a great opportunity to learn the end-to-cell supply chain process, from the moment an order is placed until the final payment is received.

As an OtC Customer Service Trainee, you will work on supporting order management, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with customer documentation. You will help ensure smooth internal workflows and contribute to a high level of team efficiency. You will get the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of international business operations and have a positive impact on our team's ability to serve our global customers. You will be accountable for:

  • Order Management Support: Assisting with the entry, monitoring, and tracking of customer orders to ensure timely processing.
  • Documentation & Archiving: Managing and organizing shipping documents, invoices, and customer files in cooperation with the Logistics and Credit teams.
  • Data Maintenance: Ensuring customer information and order details are accurately updated in our ERP/CRM systems.
  • Internal Coordination: Supporting communication between Customer Service, Sales, and Logistics to help resolve minor shipping or delivery delays.
  • Reporting Assistance: Helping the team compile weekly or monthly reports on delivery performance and order status.
  • Process Observation: Identifying simple ways to streamline administrative tasks within the OtC workflow. 

We offer an internship contract (12 months) based on a hybrid working mode.

Description of Ideal Candidate

About you 

You should be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant education degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Communications, or a related field. While no prior professional experience is required, a previous academic project in a corporate environment is a plus.

Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of the Order-to-Cash / Supply Chain process
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • English proficiency is required; any additional language (French, German) is an advantage.

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined according to academic background. The Internship Allowance for this role is € 940 - € 1040 per month in Portugal.
