As active citizens of the world, young people have the power to catalyze positive social change and guide society along a path of sustainable progress. Many Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) grants focus on empowering young people—of all interests and backgrounds—and amplifying their voices.
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Internship Program invites young people to apply for a four-month internship in Athens twice per year, from April to July and from October to February.
The next call for applications will be for the 2023 fall-winter internship cycle, October 3, 2023, through February 2, 2024. The application will be open from July 3 through August 2, 2023, and all applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by September 1, 2023.

Review process
The review process is carried out in two stages. The first stage involves the evaluation of applicants’ CVs and responses on the application form to establish a shortlist of candidates. The second stage involves virtual interviews with these candidates, conducted by small panels of SNF staff determined by which position the applicant is interested in.
Applications are evaluated on interest shown by the applicant, the relevance of their application to the position and the fit it shows with the culture of the organization, as well as the impact the internship could have for their professional and personal life.
