The Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ) welcomes applications from university students in their third year of university, or older to undertake an internship at the ANZCCJ Secretariat office in Tokyo
We encourage students with an interest in international business, trade, international relations, events management and marketing to apply for work at the Chamber. We aim to give our interns exposure to the Chamber's activities through event / project work as well as involvement in the day-to-day running of the Secretariat and activities of the Chamber and Executive Council.
How to Apply
Applicants with native English or a TOEIC score of 900 required. Japanese language skills desirable.
The Chamber has now filled up all of its internship positions for 2019 and will be taking new applications for 2020 from 15 December 2019.

Full time position (Minimum 12 weeks) - Operations Assistant
The Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting with operations, events and other member related requests of the ANZCCJ Secretariat. This role will have more direct contact with Chamber members under the guidance of the Executive Director.
This internship position is suitable for people with a background in business, admin, international relations, public relations, international business or a related field. Event management or team management experience preferable.
Full time position (Minimum 12 weeks) - Marketing Assistant
The Communications Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be producing content for both print and web aimed at promoting a positive public image of ANZCCJ through its various communication channels: website, newsletter, social media, brochures, and events. Applicants should have marketing, design or social media experience. Please attach relevant examples of your work with your application.
The Communications Coordinator and Operations Assistant shall report directly to the Executive Director. Work hours are 9:30am - 5:00pm. The Chamber hosts events that occur in the evening and early morning, interns are required to attend these events.

Cost/funding for participants:
ANZCCJ will cover the student’s travel costs to and from the office (up to 20,000 JPY per month) but visa applications, living arrangements and insurance are the responsibility of the intern. It is strongly encouraged that applicants be sure of their exact time availability at the time of their application and do not seek to change the duration or working hours during the internship outside of exceptional circumstances.
