The intensive summer French as a second language (FLS) program is your opportunity to learn French or perfect your skills.
The courses are structured around various activities:
- Lectures given by experienced professors with plenty of industry projects and examples from Québec and around the world highlight key concepts in modern operations and logistics management.
- Corporate visits in companies such as Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), Québec City Integrated Traffic Management Center, Réseau de transport de la Capitale (public transport provider in Québec), Port of Quebec
- Case studies of several well-known industries and companies, designed to put the concepts learned in class into perspective.
- A group assignment on well-known cases ensures you put your new knowledge into practice.
Classes are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, with short breaks during the morning and afternoon, and an hour break for lunch.

Language Requirement
The ISBUs are taught entirely in English, and students come from many different countries. In order to fully benefit from the experience, both academically and socially, a minimum level of English proficiency must be met upon registration. Students must obtain at least the minimum score required on any of the following tests. An attestation from the home institution that the student has met the English proficiency requirement will also be accepted.
Academic Requirement
Minimum 1 year of study in business administration or engineering.
